Fred Clark (b. 1989)
Fred is a sculptor who lives and works in Stroud, Gloucestershire. He emerged from the Royal Drawing School in 2013, as part of their postgraduate programme, which continues to foster some of the most exciting talent in contemporary British Art. Since then, he has worked closely with Pangolin Foundry near his studio in Stroud to pioneer the materialisation of linear digital drawings in bronze. He also makes sculptures by hand in wire, paper, plaster and welded steel.
In 2013, he participated in the 2013 BP portrait awards at the National Portrait Gallery, London and was included in the Ruth Borchard self-portrait prize with the first ever 3D-printed digital drawing in that exhibition. His works have entered many private collections, as well as The Royal Collection. Fred has also worked on sculpture commissions in bronze and other media for public spaces and private collections. He enjoys working collaboratively with clients, interior designers and landscape designers and will advise on all aspects of installation and maintenance.
