Caroline Hall (b. 1959)

Caroline was a reporter and presenter with the BBC before moving to Berlin in 2000 with her family. She graduated from Winchester School of Art with a first-class honours degree in Visual Art in 2004 and completed a Masters in Painting in 2007. She was named ‘Artist to Watch’ by emerging arts specialists Degree Art in 2009 and has been awarded major solo shows of her work at Southampton City Art Gallery in 2017 and Penwith Gallery in St Ives in 2020. More recently, Caroline spent the summer of 2024 as Artist-in-Residence at Lower Norton Flower Farm in Hampshire, surrounded by a vibrant array of beautiful blooms, from humble rocket to exotic antirrhinums. Inspired by her time on the farm, she created The Great British Flower Collection, a celebration of British flowers and the expressive potential of paint. Her work is in collections worldwide.
