Matt’s work is deeply rooted in both nature and family life.

Poised was inspired by Penny, the much-loved family cat. His daughter Florence brought to life the character of Flossy the mouse — her radiant, heartwarming presence captured in bronze. And Claude the frog was inspired by his son’s wide-eyed fascination after a frog appeared in his paddling pool one day!

Each piece carries a story, weaving together Matt’s artistic vision with the moments and loved ones closest to him.
